Colony #2

I checked on the new hive last night. They are doing well, lots of un-capped honey and new brood cells. Fuzzy/I are testing an experimental DIY hive top feeder with a plastic bag holding the sugar water. Seems to be about half gone, but I need to replace it, looks like it's starting to mold. They are also making lots of spur comb, I need to clean that up.

I did discover that they bees do not like the smell of Sharpie pens. Or they like it too much, I was trying to write numbers on the frames so the frames would be easier to track. When I wrote a #, several bees immediately ran over to the pen and mobbed it.
