Small update

I've not been posting much, been busy with family stuff.
But I did build phase1 of a deck-top box to store the campfire cooking hardware and the hammock. I'll be caulking it shortly and painting it, I'll post some pics when I do.

Last night we made 10 half points of strawberry/ollalaberry jam and 10 half pints of peach jam. Both turned out great. I wonder where the bread is, I'm hungry...

Now I just need to budget/build the firepit in front.

DIY: Deck and cooking fire pit

I picked up some free 4x4's off of craigslist and decided to build a 11'x11' deck. It will be multi-purpose, picnic area, relax area, dance deck, etc.

I'll be putting in some type of fire ring in front and maybe a permanent roof sometime, right now the awning I have is covering it.
