2nd hive starved. damn it.

The 2nd hive starved also. Things were looking good in the last post, but the cold snap we got a week later got them. I'm learning that there are few early nectar sources within a few miles of the place. I'm looking into what to buy/plant in fall.

I ordered 2 packages of bees, they are scheduled to be here on 4/21/2016. I'm taking the day off from work to hive them here and at Ed's in Vancouver.
