Sugar candy feeder

I just put a sugar candy feeder I made on the hive (and broke a cardinal rule, don't mess with a hive when it is raining).

I put a small block in the back I can remove so I can view the insides and push new sugar candy in (fondant is the name). I'll also try to get some pictures of the inside of the hive (once they calm down).

They were not happy with me messing with the hive, but there is a good amount of bees in the hive, I put tar paper on the hive and have covered it with a army surplus wool blanket to keep them warm.

I admire your courage of facing the hive. Good thing you were not bitten. -http://sugarshackvt.com/
