Bees are going well. They have been in fat city with all the scotch bloom that is blooming all over the area. That plant produces an amazing amount of pollen, I see bees just covered with it as they enter the hive. They almost look like a different type of bee, they are a golden red color, the pollen is sticking to their back and sides and abdomen.

I put in a queen excluder yesterday and put on a honey super. I put a 9 frame spacer in the honey super to let the bees pull out a thicker honey comb. We'll see how that works, I've never done it before, but Fuzzy used to do it and had good results.
