A honey bee stung me!!! But I guess I deserved it... I had just finished trying to shovel a large group of them into a nuc hive box and that can be rather upsetting. But the little stinger did not have to follow me, wait until I took off my gear, then crawl up my shoe, into my pants, get mad, and sting my leg. Completely uncalled for, I'd have gladly helped her out of my pants if she had given me more than a few seconds warning (when you feel something buzzing in your pants, it's not good)....
Looks like I'm not allergic to bee stings....
Oh, I caught a swarm last night.....
Now I have 2 colonies, if the swarm did not move on this am.. I'll find out shortly...
