Learned a lesson...

I went into the hive yesterday, and learned a lesson. People have told me not to mess with the bees when it's cloudy out. But I did, and now i know why. The bees get irritated easily. I was in the hive for about 20 minutes and was constantly getting mad bees bouncing into my veil. Even after I sprayed the hive with liquid smoke. I ended up doing a quick check of the outside frames to see if they are still empty, then I closed the hive up. 10 minutes later the sun came out.... Oh well, next week, hopefully the 2nd deep goes on.
